It has been almost two years since my mother died. The emotional tangle that I have found myself wrapped up in has changed me in profound ways. Those first few months were numb yet raw at the same time and I found myself writing as a way to cope with the overwhelming feelings that seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere. I started blogging these poetic reflections as a way to reach out and share a bit of myself with those that I love. Now I want to share some of that with you.
