Inside and Out

Posted on November 16, 2014 by Snapshot Reflections under Poetry

It’s when the hope
Stirred within me
That I began to cry
Not a drop before

Steady as she goes
Solid and reassuring
Like granite
On the outside

But I am
Oh so weak
On the inside
Like putty
In the hot sun
