From head to toe
And back up again
There is a humming
Radiating within my bones

My lips crack wide
White teeth appear
A goofy smile
Cements itself to my face
Surely reminiscent
Of the Cheshire cat

It’s a bubbly joy
I feel
Sparkling and sweet
Ripe for the taking
